Our Barcelona Experience

We spent October and November of 2016 in Barcelona, Spain where I received my level 5 TEFL/TESOL certificate from the Barcelona International TEFL Academy. See some photos of me teaching classes of Spaniards English grammar. It was a grueling class but we enjoyed the weather and ate well. Here are some pictures from our Barca experience. The last picture is my 'evolution of self' shot which starts off from the month I left to Chicago in August of 2016 to the trip to Barcelona. This must be around the time I truly soiled myself as an American Expatriate living in Europe.

Dobro Bites in Montenegro

We are in Bar. Off season, see us sea side. Food, love and quality weather. Quite restorative!

Serbian Lamb

If you know me, you know I'm a conscious omnivore. Which basically means I could go my entire life without eating cow, chicken, pork (never did anyway) however, there is one meat source that I constantly crave and can't seem to shake it, even when I go months as a vegan. And that is my beloved lamb. I am a lamb connoisseur and since living in Southeast Europe learned that, at some butchers, you can't even buy lamb without buying the head, which is a delicious delicacy that Eva makes delightfully. Here however is a more common lamb dish, a scrumptious leg. We called it baby because it was so fresh from the mountains, it still had a little hair on its hind leg. Lovely.
