Winter In Belgrade

It was a brutally cold and arduous winter in Belgrade but we survived it. Eva continued to craft creative and tasteful dishes, I soldiered on being a bearded guy (shaving is expensive), we saved lots of money, Eva worked hard editing weddings, commercials and the rest. My mom, who loathes facial hair, always asks me if food gets stuck in my beard. I made sure to include the last picture to answer her pressing question.

Serbian Lamb

If you know me, you know I'm a conscious omnivore. Which basically means I could go my entire life without eating cow, chicken, pork (never did anyway) however, there is one meat source that I constantly crave and can't seem to shake it, even when I go months as a vegan. And that is my beloved lamb. I am a lamb connoisseur and since living in Southeast Europe learned that, at some butchers, you can't even buy lamb without buying the head, which is a delicious delicacy that Eva makes delightfully. Here however is a more common lamb dish, a scrumptious leg. We called it baby because it was so fresh from the mountains, it still had a little hair on its hind leg. Lovely.
